FAQs

How long will a 1-ounce jar of Soothing Face Balm last before it is depleted?

A jar of balm applied once a day using a very small amount, should last up to three (3) months.

After I open a jar of face balm, how long is it good?

Our face balm is best if used within 12 months of opening.  Our balm is very sensitive to changes in temperature and should be stored in a cool and preferably dark location.  If your balm is exposed to higher temperatures (exposure to the sun for example) and melts, we recommend putting the jar into a refrigerator to resolidify the balm.

How often should I use the Soothing Face Balm?

Many customers use the face balm once a day in the evening. However, some customers use our balm more frequently. For example, during harsh winter weather, customers will use the balm as a protective layer on their face.

This has become my nightly ritual. I absolutely love this product! It leaves my face deeply nourished without clogging my skin's natural breathability. I highly recommend this face balm to anyone looking for a night time face product.

While I enjoy all of Lois & Mae products, I am particularly fond of the face balm. I use it every night and more often in the winter months. My face feels so soft when I wake up and one jar lasts a long time.

The Soothing Face Balm from Lois & Mae has given me remarkable results for dry skin all over the body, not only for the face. I've also tried the face balm on a scar area with amazing improvement.
